Most of the time lions can be found lazing around doing nothing. But when they are active they are so much fun to watch, especially the antics of the younger ones. Sometimes even the adults can’t resist joining in on all the fun! Here one cub was fooling around with a wildebeest tail, probably the remnant of their dinner that night. Mom decided to playfully pry it away from the cub, but the little one was determined not to let go without a fight. I took this photo on a wonderful morning in the Masai Mara, Kenya.
