There is something magical and mysterious about the towering forests of Mana Pools, the realm of the elephants. Creatures appear and disappear as if by magic – this applies especially for elephants. I wanted to capture this in a photo and this is what I came up with. This was one of the couple of photos that I had imagined in advance and actually managed to get – all the others I didn’t pull off are yet another excuse to visit Mana Pools again in the future …
