Cheetah Duo

There was no golden hour during this particular windy afternoon in the Masai Mara – it was too overcast. But there was something special about the bluish light as soon as the sun set. Amani and her youngster had just woken up from a long afternoon nap. They were slowly moving off to find some other place to spend the night, pausing every now and then to sit down and survey their surroundings. Being on safari should not only be about madly rushing around looking for excitement, but also taking the time to appreciate the peaceful moments, and feeling privileged to have a window onto animals’ daily lives.
